Sweet Delight

First post. Alright. Today I'm going to be sharing a korean song. Its called "Sweet Delight" by Jessica Jung. Jessica Jung?! Yes, its Jessica from the uber popular group Girl's Generation. I'm not exactly a big fan of them, but i do love her voice. Its really unique, slightly husky yet sweet. I feel that is really showcased well in this song, even though she hasn't actually sang this song live yet(its a song for a korean food brand SPC).

Her pristine vocals are soft yet clear. A friend told me that it has a "paradise-like" feel and i have to say i agree with her. Even though, its supposed to be a dance track, its actually rather soothing, yet uplifting. Its harder to decide what genre each song is supposed to be nowadays. I feel that modern music is difficult to define. I shall leave that issue for future posts.

Stay tuned for more updates! And please leave comments!

  2. Do share more on your personal experience with music as well. It would be interesting to read about your own forays into song writing/music creation, and your search for your muse and inspiration.

You could also elaborate more on the singer and her other songs, and how this particular song fits into her style.
